Another Day in ICU

Still hanging out in ICU. Nitric is down to 2. They're going slow and steady on the wean. Bailey's been nauseous again today - it comes and goes. She is able to eat and keep food down, but it's a matter of timing.

We had a little fun with Dr. T today. Our nurse rigged up a fake foley bag. It was a group effort to tease him a bit. He was a good sport, as always. He was out of town for a long weekend - we're glad to have him back. We like it when "our people" are in town.

Glad to give another short report - that just means things are stable.

Hope everyone out there is well.

Bailey,
Susan and myself just recently discovered this blog, and now everyday we keep up on how your doing. You are scheduled for an echo today but I am said that you wont be coming to us for it. Just as well Susan is off today and would have been disappointed if she missed you. I know she tries hard to come by and see you as she makes her rounds. We will keep in touch on here as often as we can, especially since I can't leave the front desk. So glad you are improving and hope your able to come here for your next echo. Okay!
Have a good afternoon and night.

How's my angel girl? Sure have been thinking about you and hoping that you get to go home soon! I've called a couple times but haven't been able to reach you. PaPa and I are lifting up many prayers and "thank you's" for His faithfulness to you! Our God is a BIG God and nothing is too difficult for Him, but I know you already know that! Wish I could give you and your mom a squeeze, but just know that we love you both very much! You keep Dr. T in line -- he needs it! What a character! It's so wonderful that you have such a great doctor and staff who love you so much! You should feel really special! You are loved!!!!!!!! Grandma Carol
