Resting From Yesterday's Big Day

Not much happened today. I think yesterday was such a big day that it pretty much wore Bailey out. It was a day of rest and sore muscles today. A muscle in her belly was really bothering her and she's still running her fevers in the evening. No word yet on the echo yesterday to indicate which direction we might be headed. She's in A-flutter again, but they don't seem to be worried about it - in fact, I didn't even know but she's been in it for a couple days.

So, no news really to report today, but I didn't want you all to worry. I'll check back with you again tomorrow.

Have a good night, Angie.

Hey Bailey! Sounds like Wednesday was a wonderful day for everyone. I am glad you had a day of rest because you will need it for the big sleepover Friday night. Are you going to let mom or dad stay also??? I think you should make them sleep in the waiting room, especially if it is dad staying-you don't want any boys there-at least any boys over the age of 14!!!! You are making such great strides forward. I know that all the prayers offered on your behalf are being heard! You take care, get rest and soon you will be able to do more than you dreamed possible.

Love, Mike and Nikki

P.S. Alyssa says she sure is glad she doesn't have to ask her dad to bring her anything to eat because all he knows how to do is make eggs!!! Aunt Nancy must not have taught him how to cook!!!!

Hi, Bailey: Today's casual day at work and I got to wear my jeans. Love that! It was so wonderful hearing your voice last night. I would have talked longer to you but I knew you had visitors and I didn't want to take you away from them! Hope you had a nice visit. Sounds like your nurses are "wonderful" and very thoughtful. It makes us feel so much better knowing that they love you so much and are taking such good care of you. Here's your riddle for the day:

Why does an Indian wear feathers?
Ans: To keep his wigwam.

Have a "happy" day! Love you! Papa sends a great big hug!

Thanks again for the update. Remember part of your work getting well is resting as well. Some days you do a lot; some days you don't. Kind of like "sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't"! HA! We continue to pray for you all. And, we will put special prayers in for Rissa and the mask thing. We will be gone over the weekend, but I hope to see you again next week. Let us know if you need anything and keep moving forward, one step at a time! Love, Nancy
