2nd Surgery Went Well

Sorry so late, but they didn't take Bailey back until 5:15 for surgery to close her sternum. In fact, she's still in there, but they just called and said the procedure went well and they were just beginning to stitch her up. They are then going to begin weening some things off so she can wake up in the next day or 2. They don't want to wait too much longer before she starts moving around so she can start coughing and not get pneumonia, etc. It's been a good day - her nurses are very trustworthy and very nice. Can't wait until we don't have to put the mask and gloves on to visit her - that stuff is hot!

Surgeons and cardiologists are still very pleased.
