Blueberry Monster Shakes

Not much going on today. Now that school is over and we don't have any homework, I think today is the first time we watched a movie all the way through without interruption! We watched "Can't Buy Me Love", of course, with Patrick Dempsey. It was good! It's funny watching it, though, and having met him. We were laughing at his dancing -- I think Bailey should ask him if he can still dance like that. Haha!

Speaking of Patrick, Bailey called him last night and left a message thanking him for visiting. She was really nervous, but I was so proud of her that she went for it. He called her back today! She hung up the phone and I jumped in with, "What'd he say?!" Bailey simply says, "He has two cats and drinks Blueberry Monster protein shakes." I did squeeze some more information out of her finally. I think she was just so excited that he called that she forgot what they talked about!

Did a little shopping in the gift shop today. Bailey spent about $60 and I spent $2.

Bailey's sitting next to me trying to think of something else I can report on, but we're pretty boring, I guess!

Talk to you later!

Angie

Wow! You two are pretty connected. Getting a prom date should be pretty easy for you Bailey - how are you going to choose from all your celebrity friends? :)I am sure Mr. Dempsey would make a great date!
Anyway, we are praying for you guys and thinking of you often. You are not missing anything but heat and humidity outside!
Your time will come soon and in due time. We enjoyed hearing you on the radio Bailey - I think you might have a future in broadcasting! Hang in there!

I have typed 2 long comments and they never make it. Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but don't have time to retype them. Just know I am thinking of and praying for both of you with tears in my eyes everytime I read a blog. Lots of Hugs, Myra

Hi Bailey,
My name is Ashley Morelock, and this is going to sound kinda funny in a way, but i feel like i already know you. I am really close friend with Tyler Adams, your cousin, and I also heard you on the radio the other day. Then someone told my mom about your blog so i decided to log in and write you a little note. This isn't going to be very long because as i will tell you, my own disease causes arthritis and this is killing my hands to type. BUT i love talking on the phone!!! and i would to have you call me anytime day or night!! 317-498-6199. that's my cell and the best way to get a hold of me.
Anyway...like i briefly mentioned, i have a disease called Crohn's, and it is an gastro-intestinal disease, which is a long word for for food track is messed up! :) I have had the disease since i was 5 and now i am going to be 20 in the fall. when i was about your age, i was in the same bed at the same place in riley. i was a very very sick little girl and then there wasn't any real treatment for me. but i am proof that miracles do happen and i am still alive today. yes, some days the pain is a little overwhelming, but i get through it. all through high school i was extrememly healthy, until the sring of my senior year. i got sick with my disease and i managed to make it to college, but it was a long and lonely year. i am still very sick and in fact i was just in the ER yesterday. but God and i take it one day at a time. so i just wanted to give you a bit of encouragement. i hope this makes your day a little brighter. i would love to meet you!! if you are feeling up to it and i am feeling up to it. :) i would love to come see you and talk to you. i know it can get lonely sometimes. know that i am praying for you, and you have a special place in my heart. please call me and we will set up a time to meet. i'll even bring you some good food from outside of the hospital cafe, because we all know how bad that food is. good luck girl. keep up the fight. Oh and when you do call me and set up a time to meet, i have a gift for you that got me through many rough times. :) God bless!
